Make Cambridge Wildly Beautiful
A City Full of Life, One Garden at a Time
We envision a future where our community is engaged in ecological restoration projects, boosting biodiversity, enhancing community wellness, and inspiring similar projects in public and private spaces around the city.
Our first goal is to create native plant community gardens and wildflower meadows at Danehy Park to augment the wetland and Miyawaki Forest ecosystems, establishing Danehy as a focal point for expanding biodiversity in Cambridge.
Pollinator Garden Coming to Danehy Park!
Coming Soon — June 7
Preliminary design for the garden to be planted in June 2025
We’re excited to launch our very first pollinator garden in Danehy Park—a welcoming space for both people and pollinators to enjoy!
By planting wildflowers, shrubs, and grasses, we’ll create vital habitat for pollinators like bees, moths, butterflies, and birds — the unsung heroes of our ecosystems.
This is a community-powered project. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just curious, we’d love your help!

About Us
We’re a group of local volunteers from many fields, dedicated to supporting biodiversity and restoring local ecosystems by planting and caring for native plants, which are the foundation of a healthy native pollinator population: bees, butterflies, birds, spiders, hover flies and many more. You can do this, too, by planting in your own green spaces or encouraging others to plant natives in the green spaces where you live, work, play, and learn. Let’s make our city a biodiverse paradise where we can all thrive together!
