Soil prep for the Native Plant Pollinator Garden

We’re excited to launch our very first pollinator garden in Danehy Park—a welcoming space for both people and pollinators to enjoy!

On Sunday, June 8 we’ll remove turf and work in fresh soil—the crucial first step before planting. This is a very important step and we really need your help! Please sign up below for one of the two shifts. You do not need to stay for the whole duration of the shift, even if you can come for 1h or 2h, it is great!

Shifts: 9 AM - 12 PM and 12 PM - 3 PM

Please sign up below and let us know if you can bring any tools. Thank you! 🌱💚

Once you fill out the form, just come to your shift on June 8 [see location here]. Enter Danehy Park through the Sherman Street entrance, then follow the main path straight ahead. Walk past the Miyawaki mini-forest. Just a bit further, you’ll spot our check-in table along the main path! If there is any change in the date or time, we will reach out to you directly.
